Xylophone Bench
The xylophone bench was inspired by the Fern Dell garden of Mount Edgcumbe. The spiral feature is based on the Fibonacci spiral form created by ferns as they unfurl which is also found on the neck of violins. The keys have been hand carved from white american oak to ensure it will resonate and make a good sound when struck. The wooden furniture legs are similar to those found on pieces inside Mount Edgcumbe house.
